Imray Laurie Norie & Wilson Ltd (Imray) is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. This policy explains how we use the information we collect about you and the procedures that we have in place to safeguard your privacy whilst you use this platform. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998).
The information we collect and how we use it

Account registration and subscriptions

When you set up an account and log in to this platform, we request your name and email address and a password.

This information is linked to the details of any subscriptions that you purchase so that you can use your subscriptions across different devices.

We store this information on a secure web server. Imray does not have access to any credit or debit card details, nor to any passwords, which are encrypted.

Technical support

When you submit requests for help with this app to Imray (explore@imray.com), we need to know your name and email address. This information allows us to fulfill your request for help.

To assist with technical requests, we may also collect technical information such as the type of device you use, a unique device identifier such as your device’s IMEI/UUID, your mobile operating system, which browser you are using, the time zone setting of your device and information about whether you have other Imray apps installed on your device.

We may also ask you to give us additional contact information, for example your mobile telephone number, so that we can speak directly with you whilst we troubleshoot.

Error reporting

We anonymously capture device type and operating system details in order to track and fix issues any with the app. This is not linked to personal data.

Marketing

If you choose to subscribe, via our website or via support@imray.com, to our mailing lists for marketing material, you may be asked to specify the areas in which you are interested so that we can tailor the information that we send to you to cover the products that we believe you might be interested in.

We do not pass on your personal data to any third party companies.

We may also use your information for the purpose of providing you with information about any special offers, author signings and other events or features of our website which we think may be of interest to you and for related marketing purposes.

By submitting your information you consent to the use of that information as set out in this Policy. If we change our Privacy Policy we will post the changes at www.imray.com and on this page so that you may be aware of them.

The information you provide may be transferred temporarily via a route which takes it outside the European Economic Area as it passes between you and us. By submitting your information you consent to this transfer.

Marketing opt in/opt out

If at any time you wish to receive information about any other product areas which you currently do not receive, you can sign up to our email newsletters by sending a request to explore@imray.com. You can opt out of receiving email newsletters in the same way, or by using the unsubscribe button on our newsletter emails.

You can help us keep our records up to date by telling us when your contact details and other personal information changes. You can also change your mind at any time about how we contact you or ask us to stop contacting you altogether.

Security of your information

We follow strict security procedures in the storage and disclosure of information that you have given us. This is to prevent unauthorised access or unlawful processing of your personal information.

We keep your information confidential and store it on a secure server which is password protected and hidden behind a firewall. We use secure socket layer software (SSL) to encrypt all of your personal information including name and address. Imray internal procedures cover the storage, access and disclosure of your information.

Non-disclosure to third parties

Unless we have your express consent, we will only disclose your personal data to third parties if this is required for the purpose of completing your transaction with us.

We use your information only as set out in this Policy and will not sell, rent or pass your information on to others for marketing purposes without your express consent.

Imray may however provide aggregate statistics about its customers, sales traffic patterns and related site information to reputable third-party vendors and relevant affiliate partners, but these statistics will include no personally identifying information. We may also release account information where we believe in good faith that this release is reasonably necessary to comply with the law.
